Praising God for Great Growth at Nile Orphan Care
We are so blessed to serve with our ministry partner, Nile Orphan Care (NOC). We are always excited to hear that they continue to make disciples that make disciples! God is doing wonderful things there:
- The orphans are prayer walking each week – reaching out to their community.
- The church that meets at the orphanage has grown from over 500 in attendance to 738 in attendance over the last 5 months!
- They have grown to 300 discipleship 3/3rds groups inside and outside the orphanage.
- There are over 900 people involved in these groups.
- They change in the orphanage/school has been so dramatic that they have now trained 6 other schools in discipleship.
- The school has named a Discipleship Global representative to head up the ongoing DMM (what is a DMM?) training and to catalyze the movement.
- The school has employed a farmer and two assistants who are on site to push forward the food independence program using the training from “Farming God’s Way” ministries.
- Our team recruited Dave Albert to be chairman of the board of NOC and Dave also serves on the DG board. It’s like a wonderful family in the Lord!
